A major building project has resulted in the need for temporary storage at the Cambridge headquarters of the NIAB and shipping containers provided the solution.
Portable Space supplied two units to meet the brief – one 20ft and a 40ft tunnel container which has doors at both ends for easy access.
Gary Bignell, Facilities Manager at NIAB said: “We currently have a major building project to improve and modernise our existing Cambridge facilities on Huntingdon Road which will run until 2020. We needed temporary storage for this period and Portable Space provided the containers to meet our requirements.
“All my dealings with the company were good. They responded very quickly to all my requests and the units were delivered by their own transport team.”
NIAB employs more than 400 people, mainly in Cambridge but also at ten regional centres. Its overriding objective is the promotion of agriculture, horticulture and arboriculture anywhere in the world by providing services, training and carrying out research as an independent, not-for-profit organisation.
