This twin axle towable 2+2 toilet unit is built to an exceptionally high specification and standard, with eco therm insulated GRP roof and side panels that look fantastic inside and out, whilst being robust and exceptionally easy to clean.
The one piece contract vinyl floor covering protects the unit from any moisture ingress and is easy to clean. The unit is ideal for weddings and outdoor event hire, use by the film industry or for temporary needs within the construction industry.
The interior is fitted with LED lighting. Hot water is provided by an instant hot water via water reducing concussive taps. The toilets are low water consumption hygienic pedal operated toilets which further minimise water consumption and reduce waste.
The toilet areas include standard “USA” themed vinyl wall wraps which can be customised to your needs for a small extra charge – please ask for details.
Access to the unit is via strong but lightweight aluminium steps, which connect neatly and easily to the “A frame” for transport.
A completely separate door on the reverse of the toilet block provides access to all the plumbing and electrical services – this minimises disruption caused to users during use or at an event.
The unit is designed to provide every option to maximise operational flexibility. Fresh water can be supplied via the 350 litre holding tank, or if available on site mains water can be connected to the mains via a simple connection in the service area. The waste can either be collected in the 1200 litre tank, or piped directly into a sewage system via a 110mm connection.
For emptying the tank there are two options, waste is either pumped by a vacuum tanker from within the service area or the trailer can be towed and emptied into a main sewer via the conveniently situated connection underneath the unit.
The whole unit is built onto a galvanised chassis plated to 3500kgs gross trailer weight. The tandem axles are mounted on heavy duty leaf springs which provide a smooth ride for both the towing vehicle and for the toilet itself to increase longevity and reduce leaks and disruption as a result of transport. The trailer is braked on an over-run system and the chassis is fitted with robust 16” diameter wheels, these large diameter wheels reduce the risk of punctures and mean that the units are robust enough to be towed by both 4x4s, vans and HGV tractor units such as those commonly used in the film industry.
The trailer dry weight is 2250kgs leaving plenty of capacity to tow with a fully loaded fresh water tank (350 litres / 350 kgs) which is mounted between the axles so that the trailer maintains a safe and balanced position for towing. On collection as long as the fresh water tank is drained then the unit can also be towed with a full tank of 1200 litres (1200kgs) of waste if required, again this tank is centrally positioned so as not to adversely affect nose weights.
Air con can be fitted on request into the service bay, which is prepped to take a single Truma unit piped to both sides.
