Repairs, Maintenance & Warranty
Hire Equipment Maintenance
All hire equipment is delivered cleaned, inspected and tested.
For hire equipment we cover all basic maintenance; for example if something breaks, leaks or stops working we will replace or fix it as soon as possible after you have reported the problem. However for any damage caused by misuse, vandalism, break-ins, power surges, damage caused to water heaters due to interrupted water supply, overtightening of water heater taps (which are designed to drip as required), or damage to convection heaters caused by clothes or gloves being placed directly onto them will be chargeable.
We do not normally clean or redecorate units on site and on-going site inspections become the responsibility of the hirer once delivered, when correctly cleaned and maintained the cabins have a long service life.
The portable and transportable nature of cabins and containers means that whether or not you are hiring or buying the unit, it needs to be electrically tested more frequently than a fixed building, your connecting electrician will be able to advise you on a suitable regime. Either way it is your responsibility as the hirer to retest the cabin after delivery and before connection to an electrical supply.
Purchased Cabins Warranty
All new and used cabins will be delivered fully inspected and tested unless otherwise stated in the sales contract.
Please note that it is the connecting electricians responsibility to retest the unit after delivery before connecting to the power supply. This is because the moveable nature of portable units means that electrical fittings can easily become dislodged during transport.
For all brand new purchases we offer a one-year warranty covering any issues that you experience with the unit after delivery, used cabins are sold as seen and any issues should be raised within 7 days of delivery. Please contact us and we will investigate and if appropriate arrange to rectify any problems as quickly as possible.
