A Special School needed to increase its office space after winning a contract from Suffolk County Council to deliver an outreach service.
Priory School, based in Bury St Edmunds, provides specialist help for children with moderate learning difficulties. It is both an academy residential and day school and recently achieved ‘Outstanding’ in its latest Ofsted inspection.
Headteacher Lawrence Chapman said: “Our new contract from the Council to provide an outreach service to schools across Suffolk meant that we needed to increase our office area to give the outreach team a dedicated space.
“We had used Portable Space before and everything had worked smoothly so we decided to go back to them. We also liked the fact that they are local.
“First we looked online to see what would meet our requirements and then we contacted the Portable Space team for advice as we needed to join two units together. They were very helpful and professional in providing the assistance we needed, as were the people delivering and installing our cabin.
“Overall we are very pleased with the product which has given us the flexibility we needed, as well as the speed of the service. There were a few small snags but these were resolved quickly and satisfactorily.”
